As a Senior Cognos Consultant, you will participate in projects from the business scope definition, planning, requirements analysis, design of architecture right trough the implementation and testing.

Your responsibilities:

Responsible for functional or technical deliverables.
Responsible for the design and the development of Cognos 8 BI solutions
Relationship with customers

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates experience and capability to propose and develop a technical Cognos 8 BI solution
• Coaching of BI Consultants
• Ability to inspire confidence in customers at IT and users levels during the project/mission daily activities
• Warrant of the design of part of the solution and part of the implemented architecture/ warrant of the quality of the implementation
• Works using methodology and documentation standards
• Operates in a learning context with guidance but requires minimal supervision

Your Profile:

• University Degree (BAC +4 or +5)
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the BI Area
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience within the Cognos BI suite
• Large experiences within Cognos BI version 8
• Good record of delivering against pre determined requirements, often in reasonable timescales.
• Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following business domains: Finance, Controlling, Banking activities, Industry.
• High capabilities in relationship internally and externally
• Highly motivated
• High potential to evaluate within a role of Architect
• Trainer capabilities
• Fluency in both spoken and written (French or Dutch) and English. French or Dutch must be the mother tongue, and a good knowledge of the other language will be an asset.
• Mobility and flexibility are required (Belgium and Luxembourg)
